PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM

The Public Health Program carries out health promotion; disease prevention, surveillance and control; and early detection and treatment of illnesses in a primary health care setting. Community participation and inter-agency collaboration are the hallmarks of public health activities in Sarawak. On-going research and innovations are other factors that have contributed to the effectiveness of this program. Its major components are:
